What information do we collect?

Information you provide. When you submit a form, call, or text us, we collect your name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and information about your property.

SMS opt-in information. If you check the SMS consent box on a form, or otherwise agree to receive text messages from us, we collect your phone number and the fact of your consent (the time, method, and source of that opt-in) specifically for the purpose of sending you text messages about your property inquiry.

How we use your information

General website data is used to operate and improve the site, respond to inquiries, and process your property inquiry.

SMS opt-in data is used only to send you text messages related to the property you inquired about: follow-up questions about condition and timeline, cash offer information, appointment scheduling and confirmations, and status updates. We do not use your phone number or SMS consent record for any purpose beyond communicating with you about your inquiry.

How you opt in. Cookies & Tracking Information

Remarketing

Southern Sky Home Buyers also may use 3rd party vendor re-marketing tracking cookies, including but not limited to the Google Adwords tracking cookie. As always we respect your privacy and are not collecting any identifiable information through the use of Google’s or any other 3rd party remarketing system.

The third-party vendors, including Facebook and Google, whose services we use – will place cookies on web browsers in order to serve ads based on past visits to our website. – Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to your website. This allows us to make special offers and continue to market our services to those who have shown interest in our service.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

This provision applies notwithstanding any other statement in this Privacy Policy. Nothing elsewhere in this policy regarding marketing, advertising, remarketing, or general data sharing applies to your SMS opt-in phone number or consent record, which is never shared, sold, rented, or transferred for any purpose beyond delivering the text messages described above.

Other Information Practices

Do we disclose general (non-SMS) information to outside parties? We do not sell or trade your personally identifiable information. We may share it with trusted third parties who help us operate our business (such as service providers), provided they keep it confidential, or when required by law. Non-personally-identifiable visitor data may be used for marketing and advertising as described in Cookies & Tracking above. This paragraph never applies to SMS opt-in data — see the section above.

Third-party links. Our site may link to third-party sites with their own privacy policies. We aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

Personal, financial, and property information. As a real estate services firm, we may collect contact, property, and in some cases financial information to help analyze your situation. This is used only to help you with your real estate situation and is not shared with outside parties beyond that purpose.

California and children’s privacy. We comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act and do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, per COPPA. Our services are directed to individuals 18 years of age or older.

Changes to this policy. Updates will be posted to this page with a revised Effective Date.
